Thank you for this channel. As a born pathan and phustun, we never really learned the language anywhere. People always taught english, urdu, arabic but never phusto. So, because of that I never actually learned how to read or write phusto, only how to speak it.

@@usmanchughtai1751 Is this on and off studying? I started about two weeks ago, occasionally ask my Quran Teacher (Im only 15 lol) for some local words and translations in urdu. With some videos and online at this point I can get a general gist of what sentence is saying because the grammar is exactly the same. How long would u think I can learn good conversational pashto if I know urdu/punjabi, im a pretty patient guy lol
@@user-ey8bh8cd5r on and off but it’s been a while. It’s actually really easy to grasp if you know Urdu because a lot of the words and grammar are similar as you might have noted. However things like sentence structure and syntax take longer to pick up but are still intuitive. It’s really just a matter of consistent practice and you should be getting the hang of it in no time
@@usmanchughtai1751 Definitely the hardest thing about this language so far is how words completely change form depending on the context, otherwise I believe i'll get it down even if there's barely any resources. Such a cool language. Urdu is very simple with past tense, present and future, probably because I was raised with it. Thanks for the reply, really reassuring and interesting.
